Hello! I’m Ember-Vine.
I am a strategic, empathetic and creative content writer, scriptwriter, and consultant with over 13 years of experience crafting compelling content for diverse brands. And I’m super passionate about storytelling and its power to connect and transform.
My journey began with a love for writing (I wrote my first "novel" at age 3 with red crayon!), leading me to pursue studies in Communications, Journalism, and Film Studies. I honed my professional skills in a variety of roles while living in Los Angeles, Toronto, and the UK. While living in Edinburgh, I co-wrote and directed a one-woman show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In 2011, I saw my first short film produced, which won an award for excellence in storytelling. 2011 was also the year I found my way into Marketing through an internship in Chichester, West Sussex. Since then I’ve spent over 13 years working both in marketing agency teams and leading in-house marketing departments.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with and liaising on content and PR projects for organizations including Microsoft, Finger Food Advanced Technology Group, Nch’Kay Development Corporation, The Native Courtworker & Counselling Association of BC, Skipper Otto, Satya Organics, Thales Group, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, The British Columbia Law Institute, Mothers Choice Products, and Integra Consulting.
Regardless of company size or industry, I am passionate about helping businesses find their voice, articulate their stories, and connect with their ideal audience.
In all my work, I bring a collaborative spirit and a deep commitment to empathy and understanding, informed by a trauma-informed approach.
I work with organizations of all types and sizes but I am particularly interested in supporting women-led, LGBTQ2IA+ and neurodiverse organizations.
