Hello! I’m Ember. I am a creative and strategic content specialist with over 14 years of experience helping brands tell their story across websites, campaigns, packaging, videos, and more.

My background includes writing UX-informed web content, SEO-optimized copy, e-commerce product descriptions, brochures, product packaging, blogs, press releases, scripts, and creating multi-platform marketing strategies. I have worked with organizations of every size, from innovative start-ups to global companies, in industries ranging from health and wellness to technology, pet care, and education.

My approach blends strategic thinking with imaginative storytelling, drawing on a foundation that includes an MA in Writing for the Media, a BA in Communications, and a certificate in UX for Web Design. I am passionate about creating content that informs, engages, and inspires action, and I thrive on collaborating with values-driven organizations that genuinely care about people and the planet. I am particularly interested in working with women-owned and LGBTQ2IA+ organizations.

My creative work also extends beyond marketing; I have had two short independent short comics published and once won an award for excellence in steampunk storytelling for my short film "Tick-Tock."

When not writing, I bring my same mix of discipline and creativity to learning aerial hoop. Because I believe the best ideas often come when you’re willing to push your limits and try something different (and sometimes when you’re hanging upside down).
